JAMMU, Nov 3: Vice Chancellor of University of Jammu, Prof Umesh Rai today flagged off Jammu University Cricket team for participating in the forthcoming 18th Vice Chancellor Cup-2022, scheduled to be held at Chaudhary Charan Singh Agricultural University Hisar in Haryana.
The Vice-Chancellor wished them success for the ensuing tournament in presence of Director Sports and Physical Education, Dr Daud Iqbal Baba.
The Director appraised the Vice Chancellor about the format in which a number of teams are going to participate from various States. The University team is led by Raj Kumar Bakshi as captain who is an ex-J&K Ranji player. The team is also accompanied by Mukesh Kumar and Dr Noor ul Asrar Beg.
