JUDA distributes stipend to 102 beneficiaries

JAMMU, Sept 29: Jammu Urban Development Agency (JUDA) in collaboration with Kalamkari Centre Society distributed stipend among 102 beneficiaries of six Extension Centers run by it (JUDA) under Skill Development Programme ‘Step-up’.
The stipend was distributed today in a programme organised in the premises of Kalamkari Centre Society.
Suraiya Jabeen, Chief Executive Officer (JUDA); Tina, Project Officer (JUDA); Purnima Chaudhri, patron, Kalamkari Centre Society; Jeyoti Bhat, Project Officer, (KCS) and Subash Langeh, (APO) KCS were also present on the occasion.
The Extension Centres to which the stipend was distributed include Gujjar Nagar, Shahidi Chowk, New Plot, Bari Brahmana, Christian Colony and old Rehari Mohalla.
Speaking on the occasion, CEO JUDA told the beneficiaries that JUDA also provides loan facility to the interested beneficiaries at a very low rate of interest to make them self employed.
