JAMMU, June 17: A day-long District Jammu Cadet boys and girls Judo Championship concluded at Indoor Sports Complex MA Stadium, here today.
The championship was organized by the Judo Association Jammu & Kashmir under the aegis of J&K Sports Council and J&K Olympic Association. The Judokas from all over the district participated in the championship.
Suraj Bhan Singh (Chief Judo Coach) and Manager Indoor Sports Complex MA Stadium Jammu were the chief guests and guest of honour was Vikas Gupta, Vice President Judo Federation of India in the tournament.
The championship was held under the supervision of Suraj Sharma Honorary General Secretary, Judo Association Jammu and Kashmir, Manish Chatwal (Judo Instructor) was the organizer Secretary. The bouts were officiated by Ritika Slathia, Jugal Kishore, Rameshwar Singh Jamwal, Danish Sharma, Rohit Sadhotra and Raman Sharma.
The Judokas who won gold medals in the tournament are Sumit, Hitesh Sumbria, Hitesh Mehra, Sourav Singh, Arihaant Mahajan, Aryan Sharma, Zayin Dobriyal, Tushar Raina, Abhijai Partap Singh, Anjli Rajak, Shivanshi, Niharika Sharma, Nandni Chib, Bhumika Dhar, Anshika Sharma and Nirjala Kumari
While silver medalists are Nixon, Jot Parkash Singh, Arti, Prachi, Leisha Gupta, Avika, Arohi Sharma and those who won bronze medals are Akshainie, Vidanshi, Saniya, Kashvi Chopra and Swastika.
