JAMMU, May 10:BJP MP from Jammu-Poonch Constituency, Jugal Kishore Sharma conducted open public darbar to address the problems of people at party Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar near here today.
While sharing his views at Public Darbar, Jugal Kishore Sharma said BJP both at the Centre under the able leadership of PM Narendra Modi as well as in the State is committed to the welfare of public. The Mantra of BJP is “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas” and the party is committed to mitigate the problems faced by public.
He said that aim of conducting this program is to address public grievances at grass root level and BJP will conduct these type of programs on a regular basis where public can come and approach for any type of problem. Although the Civil Secretariat has shifted to Srinagar but BJP is committed to provide all the administrative facilities to the people of Jammu region at their doorsteps so that no issue of the region remains unattended, he added.
Dozens of delegations from Kathua, Samba, Akhnoor, Jammu, Rajouri, Ramban and other areas of the regions visited Party office to discuss and present their problems. Delegations highlighted the problems like Installation and repair of hand pumps, water scarcity, wells, upgradation of lanes, laying of roads under PMSY, pending benefits under Centre and State Government sponsored Schemes road, bridges, electricity and others. MP sorted out many of their problems on the spot by telephonically interacting with the competent authority and forwarded the others to concerned departments with written instructions for their quick disposal. Youth related problems were also discussed and MP gave assurance to them regarding appropriate addressal of their concerns regarding PAC and the Government policies for appointments.
A delegation of BJP Displaced District Durga Mandal also met the MP and demanded full voting rights for migrants, medical insurance, , Mudra loan facility of unemployed migrant youth, direct recruitment in police and army, e-Rickshaw facility, minority status for displaced Pandits, voting rights in the municipal elections and restoration of RBA certificates.
M L Bhat, Satish K Zutshi, Rakesh Kaul and Arvind Bhat were in the delegation.
The programme was coordinated by State secretary & State incharge election related matters Rajinder Sharma and additional office secretary Suresh Sharma.
Meanwhile, State secretary Ghulam Ali Khatana also met with certain delegations of public at Party Headquarters and listened their problems.
