JAMMU, June 22: Member of Parliament and State BJP president, Jugal Kishore Sharma today inaugurated a showroom for Ladies & Kids footwear under the name and style Kadam Shoe Store at Malhotra Complex, Canal Road, area of Jammu city in the presence of a large number of party activists, local shopkeepers and general public.
Sharma, while congratulating Vikas Mahajan, the proprietor of showroom, said that it would not only prove to be a source of income for him but also provide employment to some youth. “It is a very good initiative and other unemployed educated youth should emulate it’’. They should avail the loan facilities from financial institutions to set up own business instead of becoming over aged while waiting for Government jobs. He also urged the State Government to simplify the procedure for getting loans so that the educated youth were not made to run for months together to complete the unnecessary additional formalities.
Vikas Mahajan briefed the BJP leaders and the general public about the brands and the varieties of footwears and further added that the footwear showroom is one of its kind in Jammu showcasing the popular brands too.
