JAMMU, Sept 20: BJP MP Jugal Kishore Sharma today visited Government Degree College Jindrah in Nagrota Assembly constituency and laid foundation stone for installation of Close Circuit TV Cameras as part of overall College Surveillance System.
The MP was briefed about the surveillance by the College Principal, Dr Nutan K Resutra, who explained that installation of this system in College will not only provide round the clock surveillance of College as well as Higher Secondary School property but also act as an effective tool in maintaining discipline besides improving quality education as also regularity and punctuality.
Jugal Kishore also dedicated clean drinking water facilities to the students, installed on the Campus for the welfare of the students as well as others. He also launched plantation drive in the college by planting the sapling of sacred Bael plant and Neel plant. He called upon the students to plant at least one tree in each household.
The MP said that the students should take keen interest to take part in sports and co curricular activities. He further added that the teachers are the builders of the nation and they should teach the students with academic studies and moral activities.
Jugal Kishore also inspected the ongoing construction works for the building of Govt Degree college Jindrah and asked to speed up the same so that the completion of the building would be done at the earliest and students may take classes there next session.
Nand Kishore Senior BJP leader, along with his team and Principal Govt Higher Secondary School Jindrah were also present on the occasion.
