Junior Wing of APS Kaluchak celebrates Annual Day

JAMMU, Nov 27: A colourful cultural programme and prize distribution ceremony marked the  reverberating Annual Day celebration of the Junior Wing of Army Public School Kaluchak, here.
Pomp and splendour accorded honour to the theme of the extravaganza, “Incredible India” with great exuberance today.
The event was a euphoric mix of outstanding talent displays, colorful drills and spectacular cultural performances.
The chief guest, Brig Atul Kumar, SM, Chairman APS Kaluchak, graced the occasion with his benign presence. Reena Kumar, FWO 26 Arty Bdg was the guest of honour.
Students from classes Ist to Vth assembled a resplendent pageant of art, music, dance and drama in culmination of the year-long journey of discovery.
The programme was ushered in by Ganesh Vandana which created a pious and spiritual environment, thereby enthralling the audience.
Spectacular, impressive and well synchronized, Yoga formations rendered the spectators, speechless and awestruck. Folk dances like Kud and Bihu were performed with profuse alacrity.
The event saw the emanation of mammoth enchantment as the students took part enthusiastically in a vast array of programmes namely Kawali, Judo and Karate etc.
An astounding visual treat was presented in the form of Bhartiyam.
Over 250 students, dressed in colourful attires, staged the musical act “Kashmir to Kanyakumari” which proved to be the icing on the cake. The school choir enthralled the audience with the soulful rendition of the music.
The Annual School Report was read by the Principal, Hem Lata Vishen.
Meritorious students in academics and extra-curricular activities were felicitated.
The chief guest applauded the unison of efforts, dedication and participation which fortified the triumph of the function.
