SRINAGAR, Nov 21: Mother of Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court, Justice Mansoor Mir and Judge of the J&K High Court Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir passed away this evening.
She was admitted to Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura few days back and breathed her last this evening. Her burial will be performed tomorrow at native village Rajpora in Pulwama district.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed expressed grief over the sad demise of mother of Justice Mansoor Mir and Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir.
In his condolence message, Mufti Sayeed expressed solidarity with Justice Mansoor Mir and Justice Yaqoob Mir and prayed to Almighty Allah to give them courage to bear this irreparable loss.
He also prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
