JAMMU, Nov 15: Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir, Executive Chairman of State Legal Services Authority today held video conferencing with chairpersons of DLSAs with regard to the 2nd National Lok Adalat to be held on December 6.
Executive Chairman asked the Chairpersons of DLSAs to prioritize the identification of Criminal Compoundable cases, cases under 138 NI Act, MACT cases, matrimonial disputes, labour disputes, land acquisition cases, bank recovery cases and pre-litigation matters.
He asked the Chairpersons to hold Pre-Lok Adalat Sessions for the MACT cases and Bank cases and stressed upon them to hold meeting with District Magistrates so that the revenue cases, MNREGA cases and cases of flood affected victims are identified and taken up in National Lok Adalat.
Executive Chairman further directed the Chairpersons of DLSAs to monitor the performance of PLVs to ensure the implementation of various NALSA Schemes, State Plan of Action, calendar of activities and project for focus implementation adopted by J&KSLSA for the calendar year 2014-2015.
