JWAM demands countrywide lockdown

JAMMU, May 8: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) has claimed shortage of blood, vaccines and vaccination centres for 18 to 45 age groups and has called it as a matter of great concern.
In a press conference here today JWAM president, Sunil Dimple demanded opening of more COVID vaccination centres for children also as WHO has warned that infection may target children.
He claimed that there is no ration on ration depots for all ration card holders and almost all the essential commodities are being black marketed.
He said that hospitals are in problem as number of COVID patients are regularly increasing.
JWAM leader claimed that the patients are suffering from the blood shortage as the donors are not coming forward to donate blood fearing that they may get infected by COVID.
He said that the government is not serious for opening more vaccination centres and urged upon PM Modi to announce countrywide lockdown without wasting time.
