SRINAGAR: The State Cabinet today appointed K Rajendra Kumar as Director General of Police (DGP).
An official spokesman said here this after the State Cabinet which met here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah approved the repatriation of Ashok Prasad, Director General of Police, J&K, to the Intelligence Bureau, with immediate effect.
He said Mr Kumar, Special Director General of Police (Coordination), PHQ, was appointed as the Director General of Police, J&K. (AGENCIES)
