SRINAGAR, Dec 8: The J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association has announced the selection trials for the 50th Junior National Kabaddi Championship for boys and girls, scheduled from December 12 to 14, 2024. The trials will be held at the Kabaddi Field, MA Stadium at 3:30 pm each day.
Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, General Secretary of the J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association, urged all affiliated districts and clubs to send their registered players to compete for a place in the championship. The 50th Junior National Kabaddi Championship will take place in Haridwar from January 8 to 11, 2025.
Eligibility criteria for the trials include: Boys: Must weigh 70kg or below and be 20 years old or younger on January 12, 2025. Girls: Must weigh 65kg or below and be 20 years old or younger on January 12, 2025.
Participants must also bring; two passport-sized photographs. Photocopies of Aadhar Card, AKFI registration card, J&K domicile certificate, and a medical fitness certificate from an authorized doctor. Only players registered with Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) are eligible for the trials.
