JAMMU, Oct 15: General secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association, Kuldeep Kumar Gupta in a statement issued here has said that the probables for Sub-Junior (boys and girls) categories who have been selected for Coaching Camp which is going on at Green Field, Gandhi Nagar Jammu, prior to the participation of State team in 25th Sub-Junior National Kabaddi Champi-onship, have been covered under insurance policy.
This is for the first time in the history of Sports in J&K State that any Sports Association has come forward to provide Insurance Policy to the players to boost their morale.
The president of the State Association, Anil Gupta distributed Rs 1 lakh Insurance Policy to all probables who were selected during the trials and are attending the Coaching Camp alongwith officials in presence of Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, Anil Modi, press secretary and Surinder Mohan Gupta, joint secretary of the Association.
Further, Anil Gupta also announced cash award for the State teams winning any of the top three positions at the National scene.
The selected probables and officials who have received insurance policy of Rs 1 lakh each included Bipasha Datta, Anjana Devi, Sukhmeet Kour, Palvi Seth, Kiran Rawat, Ayushi Ujjwal, Simran Mangotra, Sherya, Taniksha Sangral, Aayushi Gupta, Moniak Verma, Sapna, Taniya Choudhari, Anu Sethi, Bhanu Partab, Rahul Sharma, Ritik Khatri, Manjit Singh,Prem Singh, Baljeet Singh, Karandeep Singh, Navjot Singh, Vishal Mehra, Raghunandan Kesar, Amit Sharma Bari, Sourav Gupta, Gourav Gupta, Sachin Sain, Shubam Mabalia, Ankush Gupta, Ajay Gupta, Poonam Jamwal and Anuradha Bhagat.
