UDHAMPUR, Jan 12: Kabaddi Premier League, organised by J&K Sports Council in collaboration with Udhampur District Kabaddi Association entered 3rd day, here today.
In first match of Kabaddi, Chenani Kabaddi Club defeated Tikri Kabaddi Club by 35-11 scores, while Royal Kabaddi Club got better of Chiryai Kabaddi Club by 36-19 scores and Udhampur Kabaddi Club trounced Star Kabaddi Club by 49-25 scores.
The matches were officiated by the technical panel of officials including Naveen Kumar Sharma, Sanjay Sharma, Rakesh Khajuria and Ram Kumar. The matches were played in the presence of all the coaches of Sports Council.
Ashok Kumar Sharma, general secretary Udhampur District Kabaddi Association was the guest. He appreciated the efforts J&K State Sports Council for organizing a Kabaddi Premier League for promotion of Kabaddi in the UT of J&K and he specially thanked the Secretary J&K Sports Council for providing Indoor Kabaddi mats to District Udhampur.
