JAMMU, Aug 27: J&K UT Kabaddi team was announced for 48th Junior National Kabaddi Championship in girls section, scheduled to be held at Patna in Bihar from September 1 to 4.
The UT team will participate under the banner of J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association and J&K Sports Council.
Anil Gupta, president J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association distributed sports kits among the selected players in the presence of Satish Kumar, Manager, Indoor Stadium, Surinder Mohan- gen. secretary, Anil Modi, organizing secretary, Jasveer Singh, Nisha Rani, Kajal and Joginder Kumar of the Sports Council.
Satish Kumar, Manager, Indoor Stadium and his team also screened the team, while Anil Gupta, president, J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association also blessed the team for the upcoming championship.
Team: Siya Saini (Captain), Divya Chouhan, Taniya Sotra, Komal Slathia, Shehnaza Bano, Tamana Slathia, Naziya Begam, Kriti, Kanika Sharma, Ayushi Thakur, Manshu Devi and Kanika Jamwal, while Kajal and Nisha Rani will accompany the team as manager & coach respectively.
