Kabaddi team flagged off for 33rd Sub-Junior National Kabaddi C’ship

JAMMU, Mar 10: General Secretary of the J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association, Kuldeep Kumar Gupta flagged off the Kabaddi team of Jammu and Kashmir for the 33rd Sub-Junior National Kabaddi Championships at Kabaddi Stadium, here today.
The Kabaddi Boys team of Jammu and Kashmir will participate in the 33rd Sub-Junior National Kabaddi Championships scheduled to be held at Motihari East Champaran Bihar from March 16 to 19, 2024.
Officials said the Boys team underwent screening conducted by the J&K Sports Council under the guidance of Divisional Sports Officer, Baljinder Pal Singh.
The sports kits were distributed to the players by Surinder Mohan, former General Secretary in the presence of Ajay Gupta, Manager of the stadium and Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, General Secretary of the Association.
In the meantime, president of the association Anil Gupta conveyed his warm wishes to the boy’s team and officials for improved performance. President also said if the boy’s team will come with a medal, then a cash prize will be given to them. The names of selected Boys are Ankush Singh Chib, Aditya Thappa, Kavya Singh Slathia, Shahid Zahoor, Yasir Bashir Dar, Ridhan Sharma, Ifraz Ahmed Mir, Bhat Furqan, Suryansh Slathia, Harjeet Singh, Shivam Sharma and Waseem Raja and in the standby are Narayan Singh and Kunal Banotra.
