JAMMU, Jan 13: Jammu & Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association has selected both girls and boys teams for the coaching camp before participation in 49th Junior National Kabaddi Championship.
President of Jammu & Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association, Anil Gupta said that the Kabaddi team of J&K-UT in boys and girls section will participate under the banner of Jammu & Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association and J&K Sports Council in the 49th Junior National Kabaddi Championship for boys and girls which is going to be held at Hyderabad from February 1 to 4, 2024.
The list of selected boy’s team is Arsalam Rasool Rather (Srinagar), Aditya Singh (Udhampur), Rohit Singh (Jammu), Mohd. Ashraf (Kathua), Sajad Ali Maqbool (Poonch), Deepankar Sharma (Jammu), Abhishek Chib (Jammu). Mir Danish Manzoor (Anantnag), Laxman (Jammu), Vansh Sharma (Jammu), Rahul Singh (Jammu), Moomin Qayoom (Baramulla), Akash Sharma (Jammu) and Rashid Ahmed (Doda).
The selected girls are Gazala Gulzar (Srinagar), Divya Chauhan (Samba), Kriti (Udhampur), Shakura Begum (Kathua), Rubina (Kathua), Taniya Sotra (Samba), Kiran Katoch (Ramban), Vanshika (Jammu), Sukriti Sharma (Jammu), Divya Wazir (Jammu), Komal Sharma (Doda), Sakshi (Udhampur), Samiksha (Jammu) and Samiksha Anand (Jammu).
Officials said that before joining the camp, all the probable players are required to produce a fitness certificate from the Chief Medical Officer.
