Kabra Altaf honoured for winning bronze in KIYG

JAMMU, Jan 18: Judoka Kabra Altaf, who won Bronze medal in 3rd Khelo India Youth Games in Under-21 age category at Guwahati (Assam), was applauded and honoured for her achievement in Jammu after returning back from the event.
Other Judokas, who performed well included Sajan Sharma, Rajat Singh, Varun Sharma and Tanzeem Kapta.
They all qualified for the semifinals and lost their medals bouts.
J&K Judo team was accompanied by Varinder Sharma, Judo Coach of the Department of Youth Services and Sports.
It was the 3rd time that Varinder Sharma participated in Khelo India Youth Games as coach of J&K.
Director General Youth Services and Sports, Dr Saleem-ur-Rehman congratulated Kabra and lauded her efforts for good performance. He also appreciated other performers and coach for good display.
