JAMMU, Nov 19: Former Cricketer & Member of J&K Sports Council, Ranjeet Kalra inaugurated cricket facility for children especially under-privileged children in Jammu.
The facility was established by Businessman Vijay Gupta in the form of MG Cricket Club, a personalised cricket coaching centre at Trikuta Nagar, Extension near Channi Fatak, here.
The statement said Vijay Gupta created this establishment with his own resources and without any aid. The MG Cricket Club is also exploring opportunities of tie ups with open fields of schools to give wider exposure to budding cricketers. Avinash of Game Changer Club Jammu, a prominent name in cricket coaching field in Jammu was the guest of honour. The chief coach of the club Anmol Bhan has played a crucial role in organizing all this.
Ranjeet Kalra complimented Vijay Gupta and cricketer Anmol Bhan for the initiative of personalized cricket coaching to players especially the underprivileged who shall be coached free. It’s good to know that the practice wickets are flood lit and shall be operational in the evening too.
