Kamla palace-Bharat Nagar road need immediate repair

Talab Tillo, a bustling locality in Jammu is facing the challenges of deteriorating road condition especially the Kamla palace-Bharat Nagar road. The bad condition of this road has not only become a daily inconvenience for residents but has also raised concerns about safety and accessibility. Repeated advocating for road repairs in Talab Tillo has become an order to enhance the quality of life for its residents and ensure a safer and smoother transportation experience. The current state of the roads in Talab Tillo is far from satisfactory. Potholes, uneven surfaces, and damaged stretches make commuting a daunting task. The wear and tear have not only affected private vehicles but have also impacted public transportation services. Pedestrians face challenges in navigating the uneven paths, risking accidents and injuries. The poor road conditions in this area have a ripple effect on the daily lives of its residents. The risk of accidents contributes to a decline in the overall well-being of the community. Creating a petition outlining the concerns and demands for road repairs has become a routine and the authorities themselves seem unbothered. Local representatives and municipal authorities need to be sensitive towards the general public welfare. Waiting for media coverage for official attention is not a good trend but in reality it has become a routine. In order to ensure a safer and more prosperous community, those at the helm of affairs are requested to look into the matter without delay.

Power cuts in Swaran Vihar
Swaran Vihar (Police Colony) has been facing huge power cuts since last month. This has created inconvenience among the residents. The water supply to the colony is obstructed and that leads to health hazard among the people. Moreover frequent power cuts in the colony affects the student community adversely who are pursuing studies for approaching examination. Old and infirm one, mostly suffer in the cold season when they need proper care. Here it is pertient to maintain that smart meters in the colony have been installed in the beginning here and it was promised by the Govt that power will be supplied to the area 24×7. One is at a loss to understand why people living in the area are put to trouble. Immediate action is need of the hour.

Provide a surgeon at SDH, Sunderbani
Non-availability of a surgeon at SDH, Sunderbani for the last many months, is a matter of grave concern for the public of this area. How irksome and disturbing it becomes when a patient in critical need is deprived of such services. Regardless to say that all doctors in hospitals are very important, but the services of a surgeon can’t be overemphasised. Keeping the hospitals without a surgeon for such a long time is entirely an administrative failure. Therefore, on behalf of the public of the area, the Director Medical Services, Jammu is prayed to ensure placement of a well experienced surgeon at SDH, Sunderbani, on top priority. We aren’t short of doctors, but what is needed, administrative skill to ensure everything goes well everywhere. It is tragedy of the time that medical facilities remain lacking in rural areas due to lackadaisical attitude of the authorities concerned which is totally undesired and unacceptable.

Appeal to Deputy Commissioner Kathua
We the citizens of Kathua request the Deputy Commissioner Kathua to initiate the work for beautification of Shri Parshuram Ji Chowk situated near Degree College Kathua. This Chowk is four directional meeting point on Kalibari-Kathua Road without traffic regulation and causing road jams and accidents. We have already projected demand for a Rotary at this point for smooth regulation of traffic to Lt Governor Manoj Sinha personally who assured us positively . We have also met DDC Kathua to initiate this work early. This is an important Chowk for traffic movement and needs a rotary to regulate the traffic smoothly. Since the chowk is located at a prominent location its beautification is also essential. We humbly request the Deputy Commissioner Kathua to initiate the work for a Rotary and beautification of Parsuram Ji chowk.
