*Senior Category Snooker, Billiards matches begin

JAMMU, Oct 4: In the 28th J&K State Billiards and Snooker Championship 2023, Junior Category matches were held at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, Jammu here today.
Kamran Majid defeated Omar-ul-Islam with final score of 3-2, in an astonishing clash in the final to win the title of Junior State Billiards Champion. The Junior Category Snooker’s final match was also held in which Omar Islam defeated Erham Mir by score of 3-1 to clinch the title.
Senior category Snooker and Billiards matches also commenced today. The results of senior category Snooker matches were Zeeshan Ahmed defeated Mayur Johar by 2-1, Sunny Rajput defeated Haseeb by 2-1, Akash Gupta defeated Gagan Raina by 2-1 and Waseem Raja defeated Sachin Bamba by 2-1.
