POONCH, Nov 18: Karar Hussain has been elected as president, while Atta Ullah Niazi vice president of the Poonch Forest Division of the Non-Gazetted Forest Officers Association (NGFOA).
Members of NGFOA led by Gurcharan Singh (Provincial president) conducted the election of Poonch Forest Division in presence of Ghulam Nabi War, State general secretary and DFO Poonch, in which large number of Forest employees participated and elected new nody under the Returning officer Salim Malik (Range Officer) and Sadarat Hussain Shah, Polling officer besides, Presiding officer Javid Iqbal.
During election, Karar Hussain Shah was elected as president who secured highest number of 64 votes. Atta Ullah Niazi was elected as vice president, Sajad Malik – general secretary, Waqar Younis- publicity secretary, Tanvir Ahmed- secretary, Abdul Rehman- accountant and Iftikhar Shah as cashier of the Poonch Unit.
