JAMMU, Jan 3: Under the supervision of AKAJK and Shito-Ryu Karate Do Association J&K, 10 karatekas of Jammu and Kashmir won bronze medals in the 4th International Karate Championship, organized by Shito-Ryu Karate School of India, an affiliate unit of All India Karate Do Federation at Mumbai recently.
The winners included Abhijeet Singh Chib (bronze in individual kumitee, bronze in team kumitee), Naresh Kumar (bronze in kumitee), Mohit Singh (bronze in kata), Nitin S Bharti (bronze in individual kumitee, bronze in team kumitee), Neeraj Singh (bronze in kumitee), Revati Nandan (bronze in kumitee), Akshun (bronze in kumitee), Harish (bronze in kumitee), Abhishek (bronze in kata) and Vansh Partap (bronze in kumitee).
Meanwhile, Abhijeet Singh Chib and Nitin S Bharti bagged 3rd place in team kumitee.
The performance of the State karatekas and their coach Amit Singh and manager Vikas Dhar was lauded by the Administrators of the Association.
