JAMMU, Oct 26: All Kargil Students Association Jammu organized a Sports Festival with enthusiasm and fervour today.
State BJYM Prabhari, Yudhvir Sethi was the chief guest on the occasion, while BJYM District President Leh Hassan Pasha was the guest of honour on the occasion.
The programme was started by lighting candles and bursting fire crackers.
Various sports events were held during the day.
In girls’ category, the winner of Table Tennis was Zehra Henas, while in Badminton Zehra Henas and Saria Banoo emerged winners.
In boys category, the winner of Table Tennis was Fayaz Hussain, while in Badminton, Younus Hussain emerged winner.
While the cricket tournament was won by KCC, the Volleyball final was bagged by Boys Hostel Kargil team and the Football final was claimed by FC Barooa.
Congratulating the energetic players and youth, Yudhvir Sethi said that sports unite people from all aspects of the society irrespective of caste, colour and creed.
Sharma also highlighted the various problems faced by the sportspersons in the State and their solution. Ankit Sood, Anil Masoom, Vishal Kohli, Rinku Chouhan, Chander Shekhar, Muzaffer Hussain, Taffzul hussain, Ravi Kumar, Jatin Bali were also present on the occasion.
