Kashmir Avenger FC, JKSPDC XI script wins

SRINAGAR, Nov 2: Kashmir Avenger FC (KAFC) trounced Novelty FC by 4 goals to 1 and JKSPDC XI defeated J&K Bank XI by solitary goal in the ongoing Khyber Milk Premier Football League-2021, being played at Synthetic Turf TRC, here today.
The first match was played between Kashmir Avenger FC and Novelty FC. In the first half of the game, both teams attacked each others goalposts frequently, but the defence lines withheld the pressure and didn’t allow any goals to be scored. In the 28th minute Kelvin of KAFC scored a goal and the 1st half ended with a 1:0 goal in favour of Avenger. The 2nd half, Pathan of KAFC doubled the lead in the 48th minute, followed by Kelvin scoring another goal just after the 10th minute of the first goal. Junaid clinched 4th goal in the 80th minute for Kashmir Avenger.
Alok Singh of Novelty FC scored a single goal for his team. Kelvin was declared as man of the match.
The 2nd match between JKSPDC XI and J&K Bank started with an aggressive play but JKSPDC XI’s Zaffar succeeded to penetrate the defence line and scored a solitary goal for his team in the 20th minute. In the 2nd half both tried their best to secure the net but failed to do so and the match ended with 1-0 goal in favour of JKSPDC-XI. Nadeem of JKSPDC was declared as man of the match.
The tournament is being organized by J&K Football Association in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.
