UDHAMPUR, Oct 3: Kashmir Division boys outplayed their counterparts from Jammu Division and lifted the Under-19 Softball title in the State Level Inter-Division Softball Tournament, which concluded at Subash Stadium, here today.
Kanchan Bala, Deputy Director (Central) Youth Services and Sports was the chief guest on the valedictory function and distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up teams.
The Tournament was held under the patronage of Navin Aggarwal, Director General Youth Services and Sports and under the supervision of DYSSO, Udhampur, Sukhdev Singh.
Earlier, Kashmir Division defeated Jammu Division by 18 homes to 17 homes in a thriller.
The matches were officiated by Avtar Krishan, Ashok Kumar, Raj Kumar Gupta, Rakesh Khajuria, Rajesh Sharma, Pooja Sharma, Gourav Sharma and Ajeet Singh.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Arun Magotra, Principal Polytechnic College, Udhampur, Champa Devi, ZPEO Udhampur, Pawan Kumar, Naveen Sharma, Sanjay Sharma, Som Dev, Mulkh Raj, Subash Chander and Sanjeev Kumar Bassi.
