SRINAGAR, Sept 26: Kashmir Mughals defeated Friends Club by a solitary goal to lift the Senior Hockey tournament being played at the Polo Ground here.
For the winners the all important goal was scored by Javed Nanda in the second half in the 42nd minute. Kashmir Mughals dominated the proceedings of the match and they got five penalty corners while as their opponents managed to get two penalty corners. Meanwhile, the Senior Hockey tournament for District Budgam would start from October 1.
