18th Christmas Gold Cup Football Tourney 2024-25

JAMMU, Jan 3: Two exciting matches were played today at the ongoing 18th Christmas Gold Cup Football Tournament 2024-25 at the Mini Sports Stadium Parade.
In the first match, Kashmir United FC triumphed over Jammu Sports FC with a dominant 8-2 victory. Abhineet Singh scored the opening goal for Jammu Sports in the 14th minute. However, Kashmir United responded with a strong performance. Mujeeb netted a goal in the 22nd minute, followed by Azin, who scored four times (22nd, 55th, 57th, and 61st minutes). Jazlan added two more goals for Kashmir United in the 66th and 69th minutes, and Wajid completed the tally with a goal in the 70th minute. In the second match, Param FC defeated JK Bank Academy by 3-0 to secure a convincing win.
Dignitaries present at the event included Ayush Gupta, Ramesh Chander, Yousaf Don (Organizing Secretary), David Masih, Kamaljeet, Rattan Lal, Nitin Singh, and Moon Stephen. The referees for the matches were Aman Sudan, Kartik Sharma, Abhishek Chouhan and Dheeraj Meenia.
