JAMMU, Mar 24: Kashyap Cricket Club lifted KPL Veteran Cup-16 being played at KC Sports Club Ground, here today. Batting first Surinder Cricket Club scored 162 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Puneet Wattal scored 61 runs while Provin Bhat scored 59 runs. From the Bowling side Mohan Bhat was a successful bowler with two wickets.
In reply Kashyap Cricket Club chased the target last over Amit Rania & Rocky Raina played magnificently & scored 42 & 41 runs. From bowling side Provin Bhat bagged three wickets while Vinod Dhar took two wickets. Amit Raina from Kashyap Cricket Club was awarded with the man of the match for his overall performance. Provin Bhat from Surinder Cricket Club was adjudged most valuable player of the tournament for his all-round performance. The tournament was organised by Sanjeev Kant Sharma, Anil Ambardar & Sanjay Koul in association with KC Sports Club Jammu.
