MP lays foundation of road

JAMMU, Oct 28: Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member of Parliament BJP from Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha constituency along with senior leaders of BJP and Sarpanchs and Panchs visited village Kathar in Nagrota Constituency and laid foundation stone for Construction of Kathar-Ponthal road under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY).
Jugal Kishore Sharma, while addressing the gathering on the occasion said that the road is very important as it connects large number of thickly populated villages Kathar, Kangrail, Balaad, Sangad, Challana , Pathwar , Ponthal and adjoining areas of block Dansal and Nagrota and a large number of people get benefited through the said road. The road is stretched over the length of eight kms and its sanctioned cost is Rs 5.20 crores approximately. He said that Kathar -Ponthal road also includes one bridge to be constructed and it was the burning demand of the area. He said that this is due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s hard efforts and BJP led Government at Centre that every corner of rural area is getting developed by means of road connectivity under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna Scheme.
Member of Parliament said that agenda of Bharatiya Janata Party is “ Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas Sabka Vishwas” & “Antodaya” to empower the last man standing in queue.
People of Kathar, Ponthal, Pathwar and adjoining areas warmly welcomed Member of Parliament and complimented him for putting his great efforts to execute the project.
Senior leaders of BJP Nand Kishore, Parkash Singh, Uttam Singh, Baldev Singh, Chuni Singh, Vijay Gupta, Gilla Pant, Sunil, Pankaj, Sarpanch Anil Barsala, Ashwani Singh and Panches, Executive Engineer, Rampaul Gupta, AEE, Rajesh Gupta and others were present on the occasion.
