Kathua Bar highlights various issues

KATHUA, Nov 2: President Kathua Bar Association (KBA) Ajat Shatru Sharma highlighted various issues during a press conference here, today.
While addressing the media persons Ajat Shatru Sharma said that the ongoing work of the Court building is in the last phase but it can take some more time for shifting in the new building. Recently a delegation of Bar met with the Justice J&K High Court, Tashi Rabstan where it projected the demand of chambers for lawyers in the appropriate proportion and special funds be provided for them.
Ajat Sharma further said that in the meantime the existing infrastructure of the District Court Complex including the Bar Room and parking space inside the Court complex should be improved. He appealed to J&K High Court to renovate the existing infrastructure through the District Judiciary Kathua and District Administration Kathua so that Bar members can work smoothly till the court is shifted to new building including the Bar Room of the Bar Association.
Other members who joined the press conference included general secretaries, Kamaljeet Singh, and Rahul Khajuria, senior Executive members, Rajesh Kumar Varun Mahajan, Anil Karrotra, Saurav Sharma, Pankaj Kumar and others.
