POONCH, Sept 14: Jammu clinched the title in the Inter District Division Level U-19 Girls Football Competition, held at the Sports Stadium in Poonch. The event, organized by the District Youth Services and Sports Office, Poonch, was part of the 2024-25 calendar issued by the Director of Youth Services and Sports, J&K.
Teams from four districts participated in the competition, with the final match played between Kathua and Poonch. Kathua emerged victorious, defeating Poonch by 4-0 to claim the trophy. The tournament was organized under the patronage of Rajinder Singh Tara, Director General of Youth Services and Sports, JK-UT, and supervised by Mool Raj Uttam, DYSSO Poonch.
The competition saw enthusiastic participation, and a selection committee was formed to choose the top players for further participation in the Inter Divisional UT Level competition. All field staff members were present at the stadium to witness the event and support the teams.
