KATHUA, July 24: Kathua District Rifle Association is organizing a District Level Shooting Air Pistol /Air Rifle Championship from July 27 to 29, 2018.
The Championship will be held at Indoor Shooting Range, Kartar Public School, Barnoti, here.
The event will be conducted under the patronage of J&K Rifle Association (JKRA).
This was stated by Sohan Lal Sharma, Vice President Jammu & Kashmir Rifle Association, while addressing media persons.
He congratulated the management of Kartar Education Trust and KPS Shooting Club for their initiative in providing a Indoor shooting range with world class facilities for the youth of Kathua district.
He assured all help and cooperation from the JKRA to promote the sport and to encourage the sportspersons and wished all success to the organizers.
Er. Nirmaljit Singh, Chairman of the Kartar Education Trust and President of KPS shooting Club informed that the Trust is committed to provide the best infrastructure and all kinds of facilities for the youth of Kathua District at KPS Shooting Range.
Tarun Sharma, Advisor of KPS Shooting Club and Sandeep Singh (Indian Shooting Team Coach) also spoke on the occasion.
Rajeev Sharma, Organizer Kathua District Shooting Competition appealed the youth for maximum participation.
