KATHUA, Dec 30: Kathua girl, Suman Verma, made the world record and her name was registered in International Book of Records 2023 after she climbed the highest peak of the African continent to achieve this title.
Suman, daughter of Sardari Lal from Kadetar,(Katli) Dinga-Amb, Kathua district was the first Indian woman to climb the highest peak of Africa. She was honored by Pankaj Vij, Director, CEO and Founder of International Book of Records, at the worldwide award show of the International Book of Records held in Gurunanak Bhawan, Auditorium Amritsar on Thursday.
