JAMMU, Nov 28: The J&K Amateur Boxing Association, under the aegis of the Boxing Federation of India and J&K Olympic Association, is set to organize the Kathua and Jammu Districts Boxing Championships. Sponsored by the J&K Sports Council, the event will take place on November 30 at the Sports Stadium Kathua and December 9-10, 2024, at the Indoor Sports Complex, M.A. Stadium, Jammu.
The championships will feature competitions in sub-junior, junior, youth, and elite categories for both boys and girls. This initiative aims to provide a platform for emerging talent and promote boxing in the region. The association anticipates enthusiastic participation, with young athletes displaying their skills in a professionally organized environment. The event underscores the growing emphasis on grassroots sports development in Jammu and Kashmir.
