KATHUA, Jan11: District police Kathua reunited a mentally unsound lady hailing from district Udhampur with her family members today.
Police said that an information was received from the reliable sources that one unknown lady was wandering in New Bus Stand area Kathua in suspicious conditions. Acting on the same, police team of Women Cell Kathua under the supervision of SHO Women Cell rushed on the spot and took the lady to the Women Cell Kathua.
The said lady was unable to state her whereabouts as she seemed mentally unsound. After strenuous efforts, the lady was identified as Neelam Devi W/o Vinod Kumar of Udhampur.
Police said immediately contact was established with her family members and the lady was handed over to them after completion of legal formalities. The family expressed gratitude to Kathua police for reuniting them.
