JAMMU, Oct 2: Speaker State Assembly and MLA, Gandhi Nagar, Kavinder Gupta laid foundation for up gradation and blacktopping of Gangyal to Babliana road today. The road will be completed with an estimated cost of Rs 2 crores along with other link roads of the area.
Kavinder Gupta along with Executive Engineer, PWD(R&B), Mohammad Abdullah, AEE, PWD(R&B), Arvind Gupta, Baldev Billoria, Jaideep Sharma, Vinay Gupta, Satpal Chowdhary, Ludramani Sharma, Ch Harabans, Jyoti Parkash, Kulwant Singh Bhatti, Paramjeet Singh, Pitamber Sharma, Ramesh Kumar, Vijender Dutta, Dr. Happy Singh, Waryam Singh and other prominent citizens toured the area.
Gupta held public darbar at various places and listened to the grievances of the locals; who put forth few demands related to health services, Water & electricity Supply etc.
He said that the coalition Government is keen to equip all the areas with quality roads, proper electricity supply, health care facilities, clean & regular supply of drinking water besides strengthening their Socio economic status.
Later Gupta inaugurated a transformer with the capacity of 100 KVA at Bandu Rakh, and said that it was a long pending demand of the people of this area. It is going to help in overcoming the problem of low voltage and frequent damages to the existing transformer of this area, he added.
