Kaw slams ton as Jammu Advocates thrash Kashmir counterparts by 95 runs

JAMMU, Jan 13: First-class cricketer Vimarsh Kaw scored a masterful century to help Advocates XI Jammu register a huge win by 95 runs over their counterparts in Kashmir in the friendly cricket match at Jammu University grounds, here today.
Winning the toss and batting first on a batting friendly strip, Jammu Advocates scored a decent total of 190 runs in the stipulated 25 overs, losing 3 wickets in the process. Vimarsh Kaw scored an unbeaten century, while Shashi Koul made valuable 46 runs. Kaw simply butchered the rival bowlers with his utmost timing and power-packed punch in his swashbuckling innings. His innings was delight to watch as he sent the bowlers on a leather-hunt by hitting boundaries with fluidity, grace and elegance.
In reply, Advocates XI Srinagar bundled out for paltry 95 runs, thus lost the match by a huge margin of 95 runs. All the Jammu Advocates XI bowlers bowled with a disciplined line and length and took the wickets of the rival team at regular intervals to bundle them out at a meager total of 95 runs. Vimarsh Kaw was adjudged man of the match for his splendid batting display.
The match was officiated by Saleem-ur-Rehman and Sadiq Hussain Malik as umpires, while Manu Khajuria was the scorer.
