JAMMU, June 1: Kawa College of Education held the valediction function of Sports and Cultural Week in the College premises, here today.
Er MS Katoch, chairman of the College was the chief guest on the occasion.
The function began with lighting of traditional lamp, which was followed by other cultural items presented by students.
Sports and cultural activities like volleyball, kho-kho, tug of war, race, chess, carrom, rangoli, flower arrangement, solo & group dance, songs and debates were the part of a weeklong sports and cultural bonanza.
The function, presided over by Principal of the College, Dr Anita Bali, ended with prize distribution among students who excelled in different Podiums.
Earlier, Dr Bali presented welcome address and highlighted the achievements of the College. Richa Dubey, Senior Lecturer of the College presented vote of thanks.
