JAMMU, Mar 7: Kawa College of Education organized Inter-Collegiate Slogan Writing and Poster Making Competition and Symposium, here today.
In Slogan Writing Competition, 1st prize was bagged by KCS College of Education, while the 2nd prize was claimed by M C Khalsa College of Education and the 3rd prize was given to Kawa College of Education.
In Poster Making Competition, the 1st prize was given to MIER College of Education, while KCS College of Education clinched second spot and the 3rd prize was claimed by Chenab College of Education.
In Symposium, 1st Govt College of Education won first place, while the 2nd Prize was bagged by KCS College of Education and 3rd prize was claimed by MC Khalsa College of Education.
Prizes were given to the students by the chief guest.
Prof N S Gupta, retired Dean University of Jammu was the chief guest, while Prof Ajeet Angral, Principal of Govt College of Education was the guest of honour. Er M S Katoch, Chairman of the College presided over the function.
Dr Anita Bali, Principal of the Kawa College of Education presented welcome address, while Prof N S Gupta also spoke on the occasion.
The programme concluded with the vote of thanks presented by Madhu Sharma (Lecturer in SST).
The jury members included Sunil Goswami, Priya Dogra and Geeta Khullar.
Er M S Katoch presented a memento to Prof N S Gupta, while Dr Anita Bali presented a memento to Ajeet Angral.
