KC Gurukul conducts English Poetry Recitation Competition

JAMMU, July 24: KC Gurukul Public School Paloura conducted English Poetry Recitation Competition, here today.
The students from classes 1st to 5th participated in the competition and recited very beautiful poems. From class 1st A, Yashita Thakur, Shiny and Saanvi Bhat stood first, second and third respectively.
From class 1st  B, Asmi, Raghavans and Wanya stood first, second and third respectively.
From class 2nd A, Chavi, Khushboo and Alaya stood first, second and third respectively.
From class 2nd B, Vasu, Krishna and Divansh stood first, second and third respectively.
From class 2nd C, Shristi, Ziya and Savika stood first, second and third respectively.  From class 3rdA, Shshank and Aryan stood first, Urvika second and Aryan Sundrial third respectively.
From class 3rd B, Kanan, Prakriti and Sania and Vinayakstood first, second and third respectively.
From class 4th A, Tanishq, Arya and Vidhistood first, second and third respectively.
From class 4th B, shradha, Raagya and Zaahida stood first, second and third respectively.  From class 4th C, Krishna, Reemanshi and Shitijstood first, second and third respectively.
From class 5th A, Saksham, Rydham and Satvikstood first, second and third respectively.
From class 5th B, Saanch, Dhanvi and Suryansh stood first, second and third respectively.
Also, lady-finger drawing and painting was organized for Nursery, LKG and UKG kids where they used lady-fingers to create different drawings. Tree plantation activity was conducted by the students of class 1st in which they planted the saplings of different trees in the school premises. This activity was done to create the awareness among the children to save the environment.
Chairman Arvind Mahajan and Academic Director Vijay Puri appreciated the diligent efforts of the children.
Head Mistress Mamta Singh encouraged the students to participate in these kinds of stimulating activities.
Susham Chib and  Sonika were the judges for the competition.
