UDHAMPUR, July 26: To invest powers to the members of School Council, KC Gurukul Public School Jakhar organized Investiture Ceremony in the School Premises here today.
The chief guest of the day was Additional SP Udhampur, Mohd. Faisal Quereshi.
The event began with the welcome address and the lighting of the ceremonial lamp.
The school choir sang a song with great vigour and voice laced with pride and confidence.
The School Council members were conferred upon with sashes and badges by the chief guest.
Principal of the School, Sagar Banerjee administered the oath of the leaders.
The Student Council took an oath to live up to the expectations and work with the mission of the School.
Mr. Quereshi congratulated the newly appointed School Council and addressed the leaders by asking them to be good leaders, shouldering responsibility efficiently.
He enlightened them by stating they have to be role models to their peer group.
Principal of the School presented vote of thanks.
