JAMMU, Dec 21: KC Gurukul School organised Annual Day Function with zeal and zest at Zorawar Auditorium, here today.
Over 600 students participated in the function with great enthusiasm and vigour.
Advisor to Governor, Khurshid Ahmad Ganai was the chief guest on the occasion, while the Mayor of Jammu, Chander Mohan Gupta was the guest of honour.
Prominent among others who graced the occasion with their presence were Chairman of the School Arvind Mahahan, Co-Chairperson, Sanjeeta Mahajan, Kanta Mahajan and Arush Mahajan.
The Function on the theme ‘Manthan’ began with traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by Sri Ganesh Vandana, invoking the blessings of Lord Ganesha.
A variety of cultural and other allied items was presented by the students on the occasion.
Advisor Ganai lauded the performance of the students in presenting wonderful cultural programme and said that he was highly impressed by their talent that was exhibited in each of items.
Mayor also commended the students for their outstanding performance.
Earlier, Academic Director Anu Jandial presented welcome address.
Finally, Advisor distributed prizes among the meritorious students in academics, co-curricular activities and sports.
