JAMMU, July 14: To equip and to enable the staff to cope with the challenges in the field of education, a series of workshops and orientation programmes were organized for three days at KC International School, here.
Teacher training programmes were divided into three categories.
The first session included ‘Behavioural Patterns in students: Identification and Remediation’.
This enabled the teachers to diagnose the problems related to learning and develop ways to help the child to perform better.
‘Pedagogy of Collaborative Learning’ helped the teachers to refresh the 21st century skills required in teaching and effectiveness of theme based learning approach and team work.
They developed new teaching learning strategies to make teaching effective.
An orientation session focused upon ‘Teaching Methodologies and English Communication.
The resource persons were Dr Jagdeep Arora, Sunita Grover and Kesar Patel.
Vote of thanks was presented by the Principal, Dr Ravi Bhushan.
He emphasized that such training sessions are the backbone of any successful organization as these programmes would benefit the staff to impart a great deal of knowledge to their pupil.
