SRINAGAR, Oct 4: KC Nutnoosa Kupwara lifted the Kabbadi title by trouncing Alamdar Nowpora by 3 points in the finals of 10th North Kashmir Sports Festival, here.
The finals of the Kabaddi event was held between KC Nutnoosa Kupwara and Alamdar Nowpora. The former won the title with final score 45-42.
The matches in other sports disciplines were also played in the tournament. In Football, Wullar Sopore defeated UFC Baramulla by 4-0, Moosa Sopore defeated Moosa Blue’s by 2-0, Elites Blue’s Baramulla defeated Dash Baramulla by 2-1.
In Cricket, DC XI Baramulla defeated MCC Sopore by 42 runs, BCC Reds Baramulla defeated City Club Kupwara and United C Club Sopore defeated Syndicate Sopore by one run.
In Hockey, Singhpora Sports defeated Surjeet Sports Club by (2-1) goals in semi finals.
