JAMMU, Aug 9: KC Public School organized a Kite Festival for the parents of the Junior Wing of the School in its playground as it was ‘Papa’s Day Out’, here today.
The School had invited the parents to take part in the kite flying competition specially arranged for them on the occasion.
The excitement of the children was at its pitch as it was a festive atmosphere with spring in the air.
The students of the Junior Wing after welcoming their parents presented a short cultural programme for their entertainment, which was followed by the kite flying competition.
The colourful spectacle was sheer magic to watch as scores of beautifully decorated swooping and swirling kites soared higher and higher in the sky, accompanied by cheerful shrieks of children induced by kite-flying skills of their parents.
Later-on awards were presented to some fathers who were judged best kite fliers on the occasion.
