KC Public, Jodhamal Public, KC International Schools emerge winners

JAMMU, Aug 28: KC International School hosted Inter-School Swimming Competition with great zeal and fervor.
Around 250 students from different schools competed, displaying their excellent and spirited performances in the pool.
Ranjeet Kalra, Vice Chairman, J&K State Sports Council and Advisor to the Government of Union Territory of Lakshwadeep and Chaitanya Chowdhary, Vice Chairman, KCIS graced the occasion with their presence.
The students showed rigorous training and consistent practice in varied styles–Free Style, Breast Stroke, Back Stroke and Butterfly Stroke.
Speaking on the occasion, Ranjeet Kalra said that it was good to see such budding swimmers coming up. He stressed that every sportsman should be particular about his diet and physical exercises which helps them to build stamina.
The Champions trophy was clinched by KC Public School, whereas second place was secured by Jodhamal Public School and the third runner-up was KC International School.
Maya Mishra, Principal encouraged the children to keep participating in such events which help in building their strengths.
Activity coordinator, Rajni Malhotra organized an event.
