JAMMU, Sept 10: Karatekas of KC Public School excelled in the J&K State Sub Junior Selection-cum-Championship 2015 held at Gandhi Bhawan, here recently.
KC Public School bagged 5 gold, 2 silver and 7 bronze medals and turned out to be the winners of largest number of medals among the participating Schools in this event hosted by Amatuer Karate-Do Association of Jammu & Kashmir.
The gold medal winners included Stanzin Angmo, Shaswat Saproo, Abhikshit Mahajan, Anjan Chopra and Abhiraj Singh, while Mandhata Singh and Saksham Sawhney clinched silver. The winners of bronze medals were Tanisha Koul, Yuv Pratap Singh, Utkarsh Khajuria, Sushen Bali, Dakshveer Gupta, Taruj Gupta and Kalyan Khajuria.
Principal of the School, Amarendra Kumar Mishra and Headmistress Sofia Rana lauded the efforts of the students for their outstanding performances.
