KC Public School, APS Domana outclass rivals, advance to next stage in Indoor Cricket Tourney

JAMMU, Oct 25: Inter School Multi-Sports Competition “Sportathon’, being organized by KC Sports Club entered Day-2, here today.
INDOOR CRICKET: KC Public School and APS Domana outclassed rivals and advanced to next stage.
In first indoor match, KC Public School registered win over KC International School by 38 runs and entered into the next stage.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, KC Public School made 56 runs in 10 overs. Sampark was the highest scorer with 26 runs, whereas Prabal and Aryan made 10 and 6 runs respectively.
For KC International Side, Mohsin and Omar took 2 wickets each.
In reply, KC International School failed to chase the target and bundled out at 18 runs. Kartavya and Mohsin scored 5 runs each.
For KC School side, Aryan and Sampark bowled well and took 3 wickets each.
In the second indoor match, APS Domana outplayed St Xavier by 9 runs and registered berth in the next stage of the tournament.
Batting first, APS Domana scored 37 runs in 10 overs. Aashim was the top scorer with 15 runs, while Anmol and Saatvik made 8 and 6 runs respectively.
For APS Domana side, Pars and Vishav took 3 wickets each.
In the second inning, St Xavier was all out at 28 runs in 9.3 overs. Arya scored 5 runs, while Vishav and Nikhil scored 3 runs each.
SWIMMING:
In under-14, 50 meters Butterfly (boys), Avijay of Heritage School, Aryan of KC International and Sushant of KC Public School bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-16 100 meters Free Style (boys), Manu Kabra of Heritage School, Sanjeet Singh of KC Public School and Lilly Bhau of KC Public School clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-14 100 meters Free Style (boys), Diviyan of Delhi Public School bagged first position, whereas the second position was shared by Tanmay and Sawan, both from KC Public School. The third position was clinched by Abijay of Heritage School.
In under-16 50 meters Back Stroke (boys), Lilly Bhau of KC Public School, Arnav Ray of KC Public School and Aamil of Heritage School clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-14, 50 meters Back Stroke (boys), Satyam of KC International School, Sushant of KC Public School and Mujtaba Ull of KC Public School clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-16, 100 meters Free Style (girls), Akshita Mengi of KC Public School, Yatiksha Tondon of KC Public School and Sehjan Kour of Delhi Public School clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-14, 100 meets Free Style, Mehar Malik of Heritage School, Komal Chadha of Heritage School and Vrinda of KC International School bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-16 25 meters Butterfly, Kumkum Joshi of KC Public School, Primiti Digra of KC Public School and Navya of KC Public School clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-14, 25 meters Butterfly, Anika of KC Public School, Samya Vaid of KC Public School and Stutui Jamwal of Delhi Public School bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-16 Individual Medley, Yatiksha of KC Public School, Akshita Mengi of KC Public School and Kumkum Joshi of KC Public School secured first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-14 Individual Medley, Diya Khajuria of KC Public School, Samya Vaid of KC Pubic School and Anika Gandotra of KC Public School clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
