JAMMU, Aug 23: A function was organised by KC Public School to provide opportunities of leadership to its students, here today.
The School being a global member of the Round Square considers leadership as one of the most significant components of the educational ideology propagated by Kurt Hahn and followed by all Round Square affiliated Schools in the world.
For this purpose, the Students Council of the School offers its students to perform leadership roles that play a vital role in shaping them into confident and responsible citizens of the world. All members of the Council were elected through a democratic process.
The elected members administered oaths in presence of their parents. The event commenced with the singing of the School song by the School Choir Group. Thereafter, a collective oath was taken by all the members together. Principal Amarendra Mishra pinned the badges of authority and addressed the assembly, wishing the members great success in their leadership roles.
The elected students were Adhiraj Jamwal (Head Boy), Sadaf Malik (Head Girl), Hamza Khan and Agrima Parashar (Cultural Captains), Amodhini Sharma and Ayushi Gandotra (Literary Captains), Bani Saini andNayan Pandita (Sports Captains), Varun Sharma (Vice Head Boy), Harshita Manhas (Vice Head Girl), Mrinmay Mehta and Divyanshu Gupta (Vice Cultural Captains), Dyuti Sharma and Akshita Singh ( Vice Literary Captains), Bhaavya Sharma and Arya Raina (Vice Sports Captains), Pranav Akshit (IT Head), Aakarsh Roshan Sharma (Environment Head), Aadhar Kapur and Ojasvi Raina (Round Square Prefects) and Yuv Pratap Singh, Samvat Jain, Krish Sharma and Yugam Jain (House Captains).
